In this flashback performance 41 years later, Zheng Xiaoying was appointed as the artistic director, Wu Lingfen acted as the baton, and Liu Keqing, the famous baritone singer, acted as the rehearsal director. In 1983, the original team played the leading role. Together with Xiamen Opera Philharmonic Chorus and Fuzhou Strait Symphony Orchestra, this classic opera was presented on a modern stage full of oil paintings. On the evening of May 15, the play will meet audience friends at Fuzhou Fujian Grand Theater to witness another miracle in the history of Chinese opera.
The main creators attending this media meeting included the conductor Professor Wu Lingfen, rehearsal director and Figaro actor Liu Keqing, Susanna actor Zhou Yiting, and the first vocal opera students of the Central Conservatory of Music, such as Zhang Yalun, Wu Xiaolu, Zhang Qiaoqiao, Cheng Guixian, Peng Kangliang, Zhang Shuzhou, Zhang Xiquan, Zhao Yanhai, Yao Jianping, etc. Forty one years ago, the average age of this leading creative and starring team was 26 years old. They were once the youngest "Marriage of Figaro" crew in the world. Forty one years later, they were the oldest "Marriage of Figaro" crew in the world. Professor Wu Lingfen was the conductor of the first performance of the Chinese version of "Marriage of Figaro" in 1983, and participated in the rehearsal of the Chinese version of Mozart's opera "Marriage of Figaro" which lasted nearly one and a half years. Professor Wu Lingfen said that after receiving the invitation from Mr. Zheng Xiaoying to re perform the Chinese version of Figaro's Marriage, I was the same group of students. I would do it as long as Mr. Zheng needed me. In addition, I am confident of the foundation I laid down 40 years ago. At that time, I stayed with them every day. I know that these students worked very hard in those years, and there is no problem to recover. When I saw them on the stage forty years later, I saw their artistic growth, especially after they had climbed and tumbled on opera stages around the world, they had a deeper understanding of music, used music to interpret characters very skillfully, completed stage scheduling in music, etc. It was a happy thing for me to complete this opera with them again.
Liu Keqing is the organizer and director of this rehearsal, and also the actor of the leading actor Figaro. He introduced the actors who participated in this play to the media one by one. Liu Keqing said that this flashback performance was a great surprise to our class. The return of the original people 40 years ago is also a major event in the world. We can offer the Chinese version of Figaro's Marriage to the audience again after 40 years. It is very difficult.
