Tips for safe travel

zero Self driving travel during holidays

Pay attention to the weather and road conditions in advance, reasonably plan the trip, try to avoid blocking and peak shifting, but avoid driving in the early morning, noon, late night and other fatigue prone periods. Set up navigation before departure, listen to the navigation on the road, fasten the seat belt throughout the whole journey, and put an end to illegal behaviors such as overspeed, super strength, fatigue and distraction. It is strictly prohibited to drive while drinking. It is strictly investigated that driving while drinking is not a holiday. More reminders should be given to relatives and friends when they get together. Don't be lucky to be safe.

zero Expressway driving

Go your own way, keep the distance between vehicles, control the speed, and pay attention to "speed reduction, distance control and tail lighting" in rainy and foggy weather. Pay special attention to the standardized driving of tunnels, bridges, long downgrades and ramps. Prepare for the exit early and change lanes in advance. If you miss the exit, you will go ahead by mistake. Do not stop suddenly or change lanes forcibly. Slow down in case of congestion, obey the command and follow up at a constant speed. It is strictly prohibited to illegally occupy the emergency lane. In case of an accident or vehicle failure, remember the 12 word aphorism: pull over, warn quickly, evacuate people, and call the police immediately.

zero Drive to visit the countryside

Take a full rest in advance to prevent fatigue driving. Pay attention to speed control in scenic spots and tomb areas with many mountain roads, sharp turns and long slopes, and sections near water and cliffs. Pay attention to the vehicles and pedestrians on both sides of the road when passing through rural and mountainous roads. The roads around the scenic spot and tomb area are crowded with vehicles. Pay attention to avoiding pedestrians and parking in a standardized manner.

zero Travel by car during holidays

Wear a safety helmet when riding a motorcycle or an electric bicycle, and fasten the safety belt when driving a car. If you want to take a bus or tourist bus, please choose a regular bus stop and a commercial vehicle, and refuse to take a three wheeled motorcycle, truck, illegal business charter, illegal carpool charter, and overloaded passenger vehicles.

Tips for local expressway sections

01  Fuzhou Expressway

1. Shipai Mountain Tunnel at Yuxi Section of Shenyang Haikou Expressway A (Fuzhou Xiamen) is a section separated in the same direction and prone to congestion at peak hours. Small vehicles can pass in 4 lanes, and large vehicles must go in 3 and 4 lanes on the right. In case of congestion, you can bypass National Highway 324 from Yuxi Toll Station.

2. During the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, the Minhou Toll Station of Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway from downtown Fuzhou to and from Minhou Zhuqi Imperial Cemetery may have a large flow, so you can choose to go to the Imperial Cemetery via National Highway 316 or Bailongzhou Bridge.

02  Xiamen Expressway

1. When the 2323KM section of Haicang hub where the Shenyang Haikou Expressway A-way from Xiamen to Zhangzhou and Xiamen Chengdu Expressway intersect is congested, it is recommended that the vehicles leaving the building drive along the Shenyang Haikou Expressway to the north connection line of Zhangzhou, or choose Xiamen West and Xinyang toll stations to get on the expressway.

2. In case of congestion on the 18km section of Haicang Hub, where Changtai, Road B of Xiamen Chengdu Expressway, is heading towards Xiamen and intersects with Shenyang Haikou Expressway, vehicles entering Xiamen Island can exit the expressway from Xinyang, enter the island via Haicang Tunnel or turn around in Xiamen West, transfer to Shenyang Haikou Expressway via Haicang Hub, or transfer from Tianbao Hub to Zhangzhou North Link and then transfer to Shenyang Haikou Expressway through Zhangzhou Interchange in advance to return to Xiamen.

The Xixi Bridge (Zhangzhou Longhai section) on the Shenyang Haikou main line is closed in both directions due to construction and reconstruction, and the traffic flow bypassing the Zhangzhou hub of Shenyang Haikou Expressway and Longhai Interchange increases sharply, which is prone to accidents and congestion, and it is difficult to remove obstacles and rescue. The driver is reminded to plan the route reasonably and drive out of the expressway nearby to pass through Putong Road.

Pay attention to the distance between vehicles in the tunnel. It is strictly prohibited to change lanes and overtake at will.

3. In the section from Tianmashan Tunnel to Yanfeng Hub of Shaxia Expressway, the traffic volume increases in holidays and is prone to congestion, reminding drivers to travel off peak. In case of congestion, please follow the on-site command, and illegal occupation of the emergency lane is strictly prohibited.

05  Putian Expressway

1. The traffic lights at the intersection from Putian West Exit to the urban area of Xiuyong Expressway are prone to congestion, which may cause the ramp from Putian West Exit to the urban area to be blocked. Please plan in advance and travel off peak.

2. From 2165km to 2166km of Shenyang Haikou Expressway A (Xipu Hub Interchange), the traffic volume is large and the road conditions are complex. Please change lanes in advance, and overspeed and forced overtaking are strictly prohibited.

06  Sanming Expressway

The 237KM+160M to 238KM+340M section (Sanming Jiangxi Shaxian section) of A Road of Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway occupies the overtaking lane due to construction. Drivers passing this section should pay attention to the road prompts and slow down.

07  Nanping Expressway

1. The section from Jixiang Tunnel to Yuecun Junction of Changshen Shenzhen Expressway has a large traffic flow, of which the section of Jixiang Tunnel is an uphill section with a length of more than 2km, which is prone to rear end collision. In case of traffic jam, please get off the expressway from Qingzhou Toll Station to bypass National Highway 205 and get on the expressway from Yongzhou Toll Station.

2. When there is traffic jam in the direction of the Zhongyang Hub Interchange of A Road of Beijing Taizhou Expressway to Huangkeng Tunnel, from B Road of Nanjing Guangzhou Expressway to Beijing Taizhou Expressway via Zhongyang Hub to Fuzhou, the vehicle will get off the expressway from Yanghou Toll Station, then get on the expressway from Yanghou Toll Station, and drive along A Road of Nanjing Guangzhou Expressway to Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway via Xiqin Hub to Yuecun Hub; The main line of A lane of Beijing Taiwan Expressway flows from Zhongyang Hub Interchange to Nanjing Guangzhou Expressway and then to Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway; Vehicles from Jianyang and Wuyishan to Fuzhou can transfer from Gongyu Interchange to Changshen Expressway to Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway.

Gutian and moderate four car road sections of Xiamen Chengdu Expressway have both four car road surface and separate double track four lane road surface. At the same direction separation point in front of the separate double track, both left and right lanes lead to the same direction. Sudden deceleration, lane change, parking and reversing are strictly prohibited in this section.

09  Ningde Expressway

1. The section from Paitou hub of Beijing Taizhou Expressway to Gangshang Tunnel (Road A 1817KM+700M to 1825KM) is prone to scratching and rear end collision. In case of serious congestion, vehicles heading for Fuzhou can bypass from Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway.
