Traffic participants in rural areas:

How do you do! The spring is bright and everything is reviving. It is also the time for spring farming, spring tea and outing. The Fujian Provincial Highway Safety Office and the Fujian Public Security Traffic Police kindly remind you that you must pay attention to traffic safety when traveling for outings and farming, keep in mind traffic regulations and safety protection knowledge, and jointly maintain good road traffic order.

1、 It's not necessary to carry people illegally

Trucks, tricycles, tractors, agricultural vehicles and other vehicles are not equipped with passenger seats and necessary safety protection facilities, and can not get insurance claims after an accident. Never carry people illegally or overload people.

2、 Be careful in sharp turns and steep slopes

There are many sharp turns and steep slopes near water and cliffs in rural roads, and the risk of falling over and sideslip is high. When the vehicle approaches a road section that affects the safety sight distance, it should slow down, honk or use the high and low beam lights. Do not forcibly overtake or meet.  

3、 Do not rush at level crossings

Rural level crossings are the places where various traffic flows converge and conflict. When passing such crossings, you must do "one slow, two look and three pass", and use the high and low lights alternately. Do not compete for the road.

4、 Traffic should be bright

"One morning, one night, weekend" is the time when traffic accidents happen frequently. Walk or ride, and try to wear bright clothes and helmets.

5、 Distraction, fatigue, no driving

Night, morning and noon are easy to get tired and sleepy. The driver shall keep enough sleep and open the window to circulate air; If you feel sleepy, tired, drowsy, etc., do not prop up, but stop at a safe place to rest as soon as possible.  

6、 "One Helmet Belt" to ensure safety

In case of collision, emergency braking or rollover, safety belts and helmets are the primary equipment to protect life. All the passengers, especially the passengers in the back row, must fasten their seat belts and wear safety helmets when riding motorcycles and electric bicycles.

7、 Resist drunk driving

Drunken driving seriously endangers the safety of life and property of oneself and others. When relatives and friends get together, please consciously resist drunk driving, and timely dissuade or call the police to report drunk driving.

8、 Slow down in rainy and foggy weather

It is rainy and foggy in spring. When driving, remember to "slow down, control distance, and brighten the tail", and stop jerking in the direction, slamming on the brakes. Make concessions at corners and intersections, and do not force overtaking or changing lanes.

9、 Pedestrians and non motor vehicles are not allowed on the expressway

The speed of the expressway is fast. In case of an accident, pedestrians and non motor vehicle drivers often suffer serious injuries, even at the cost of their lives. Do not try to cross or enter the expressway conveniently.
