Recently, the 2024 Hebi Textile and Garment Industry Workers' Vocational Skills Competition was held in Henan Xinya Garment Co., Ltd. The competition was hosted by Hebi City Federation of Trade Unions and co organized by Qi County Federation of Trade Unions and Qi County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. A total of 250 contestants were attracted to participate in the preliminary selection and 50 entered the final.

The competition set up two projects, namely, garment sewing workers and garment washing workers. The contestants skillfully cut, sew, press and place them in a fast and stable manner according to the requirements, which fully demonstrated the superb skill level of the employees in Hebi's textile and clothing industry. After fierce competition, the competition finally selected 2 grand prizes, 5 first prizes, 9 second prizes and 34 third prizes.

This competition not only carried forward the spirit of model workers, labor spirit and craftsman spirit, but also played a leading role of excellent workers. It has a positive significance for improving the professional quality of employees, enhancing the core competitiveness and independent innovation ability of enterprises, and injected new impetus into the high-quality development of Hebi textile and clothing industry.
