Ge Xinyuan, chief analyst of financial engineering of Guosen Securities, said, "The warrants written off by Guosen yesterday were written off through repo. The main reason is that recently, the warrant price has dropped a lot, which has reached the arbitrage target of securities companies. For the sake of capital recovery, Guosen chose to write off the warrants."
Guosen Securities created 139 million WISCO warrants on January 12. On this basis, insiders estimate that the cancellation will bring about 17 million to 21 million yuan of income for Guosen Securities. It is understood that due to the effect of the Spring Festival holiday, there may be a large number of securities traders who choose to cancel warrants before the festival today.
