Baosteel warrant trading QFII cashed in

http://finance.sina.com.cn 15:29, August 23, 2005 Jinyang - Yangcheng Evening News

Data shows that Baosteel warrants were mainly sought after by Shenzhen funds yesterday

Our reporter Wu Bin reported that Baosteel's warrants were listed yesterday, becoming the first warrants to reappear in the securities market after nine years. Although the management and the exchange took a series of measures to curb the speculation of warrants, the first day performance of Baosteel JTB1 (580000) still made investors gape -- the collective auction was opened with a ceiling of 1.263 yuan, Once it reached 1.260 yuan, it was sealed back to the trading limit again by a strong buying order. After the transaction of 139 million shares, it was sealed on the trading limit board
The number of shares still reached 127 million.

The public trading information released by the Exchange shows that Shenzhen funds have played a dominant role in the speculation of Baosteel warrants. Among the five seats listed in Baosteel JTB1 yesterday, the first three seats are from Shenzhen, which may be related to the crazy speculation of warrants in Shenzhen market history.

In the public information of the transaction of Baosteel JTB1 yesterday, the Shanghai Xinchang Road Business Department of Shenyin Wanguo and the Shanghai South Station Road Business Department of Nanjing Securities were listed in Baosteel on April 27 and August 18. It is likely that the original warrant holders who received consideration for holding Baosteel shares were the sellers of warrants yesterday. It is worth noting that the individual stocks listed by the Shanghai Xinchang Road Business Department of Shenyin Wanguo this year are basically G Baosteel, G Shanggang, G Sinochem, G Shenneng, Fuyao Glass, Shenzhen Expressway, G Zijiang, Changchun Gas, etc. through Shenyin Wanguo

negotiable securities The trading QFII, especially the shareholding of UBS, can basically be judged as the trading seat of QFII, especially UBS in Shenyin Wanguo. It seems that QFII like UBS is not optimistic about Baosteel Warrants.
