At 16:00 on April 17, when we walked into the ecological environment data center of Xiong'an New Area, the real-time data of ecological environment monitoring was displayed on the big screen of the intelligent supervision platform. Click the link of "Fengshouqiao fixed site in Anxin County", and the screen immediately displayed the water quality monitoring parameters: "ammonia nitrogen 0.021mg/L, permanganate index 5.150mg/L, total phosphorus 0.051mg/L..." At this time, we put on VR glasses, People seem to be in this site, and can observe the waters in person.

"There are 12 5G technology water environment quality monitoring points in Baiyangdian Lake and at the entrance of Baiyangdian Lake. Through 5G+VR and other technical means, we can obtain the station conditions in real time and improve the efficiency of emergency command and dispatching." Wu Haimei, deputy director of the Ecological Environment Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, introduced that they are currently testing the application of AI technology to analyze the water quality of Baiyangdian Lake, which can not only reflect the real-time water quality status of Baiyangdian Lake, It can also use historical data and current data for comparative analysis.

How did the monitoring data come from? We came to Fengshouqiao Automatic Monitoring Station in Xiong'an New Area, and the water inlet pipe at the corner of the station building stretched into Xiaoyi River, which is one of the rivers flowing into Baiyangdian Lake. "The pipeline takes water samples through a submersible pump in the center of the river to automatically monitor 47 indicators such as water quality, hydrology, rainwater, atmosphere and meteorology." Zhang Dongsheng, director of the laboratory of the Ecological Environment Monitoring Center in Xiong'an New Area, introduced.

"In addition to traditional data monitoring, we can also quickly and accurately identify pollution sources through 'water quality fingerprint' comparison, breaking through the technical bottleneck of difficult and slow traceability in the field of water pollution prevention and regulation, and accurately locking the source of pollution." Zhang Dongsheng pointed to an "online water pollution early warning traceability device", told reporters, In view of the problems such as wide drainage area, slow early warning and difficult traceability in the process of water pollution prevention and control in Baiyangdian Basin, they introduced the fingerprint early warning and traceability technology of water quality in the School of Environment, Tsinghua University. On the screen of the instrument, the fluorescence spectrum like fingerprint indicates different pollution sources.

"Just like the use of fingerprints to find criminal suspects in criminal investigation, the water quality maps caused by different pollution sources are different." Chen Jinghua, the on-site operation and maintenance director of Suzhou Guosu Technology Xiong'an, introduced that they established the pollution source water quality fingerprint database according to the key water related industries in the Baiyangdian basin, and the online pollution warning and traceability cycle was only 21 minutes, It can detect and control the pollution development trend in time, greatly improve the environmental monitoring and early warning ability of Baiyangdian River in Xiong'an New Area, so as to ensure the safety of water quality.

Baiyangdian is the largest freshwater lake in the North China Plain, known as the "kidney of North China". After the establishment of Xiong'an New Area, the restoration and protection of Baiyangdian Lake have been strengthened unprecedentedly. At present, the water quality of Baiyangdian Lake is stable at the Class III water standard, with 279 species of wild birds. To protect this green water, Xiong'an New Area has applied many "black technologies", AI、5G+VR、 UAV, unmanned ship, fingerprint tracing...... The monitoring system of "sky, earth and lake integration" has inserted "wisdom" wings for ecological protection.

In the afternoon of April 17, the "Xiong'an 1" monitoring ship set out from Baiyangdian Tourist Wharf and headed northward for 1000 meters. The staff put a yellow unmanned ship sprayed with the words "Xiong'an Ecological Environment Bureau Monitoring Ship" into the water to perform the underwater concealed pipe monitoring task.

"Baiyangdian Lake is dotted with lakes, and trenches crisscross. Many narrow river channels are inaccessible to large ships, so it can be easily handled by unmanned ships. There is a sonar detector at the bottom of the ship, which can detect hidden pipes that secretly discharge sewage through sonar scanning." Zhang Dongsheng stood on the deck of the monitoring ship "Xiong'an 1", and controlled the driving direction of the unmanned ship with a remote controller. This fully automatic multi-function unmanned vessel can monitor 12 indicators, including pH value, dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, etc. The results of water quality monitoring can be uploaded to the monitoring command center in real time.

Monitoring has "insight", and sampling is also full of "science and technology". On April 18, in the laboratory of the Ecological Environment Monitoring Center in Xiong'an New Area, the inspectors picked up the intelligent sampling box and were about to carry out a task of "pit and pond water quality monitoring". "There is a 'Internet of Things card' in this terminal, which is the size of a mobile phone card, and can locate the device. If it deviates from the set sampling position, the locked sampling box cannot be opened." Zhang Dongsheng introduced that after sampling, the sample will automatically generate a two-dimensional code to ensure the uniqueness and traceability of the sample.

In the AI test room beside, a bottle of water sample collected from a bottle flows quickly on the assembly line under the operation of the manipulator. "This is a full automatic AI water inspection system, which can automatically up and down water samples, automatically transfer samples, and automatically inject samples. It has high precision, automatically leaves traces, automatically judges data, and monitors 10 water quality indicators, including conventional physical and chemical indicators, heavy metals, and organic substances. More than 100 samples can be tested in one day, greatly saving manpower," said Zhang Dongsheng.

With the help of science and technology, the ecological environment of Baiyangdian Lake continues to improve, the water quality has significantly improved and remained stable at Class III, and the "Pearl of North China" has regained its glory.
