This year's Spring Festival is the first Spring Festival after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution to list the Lunar New Year as a UN holiday. At present, the Lunar New Year has gradually become the "World Year" from the "China Festival". Many countries around the world light up the "China Red", share the happy atmosphere of the Spring Festival, and feel the colorful Chinese culture.

As the Spring Festival approaches, the Mozart Hall of the Vienna International Center is decorated with lanterns, red lanterns, Chinese knots, paper-cut characters and other decorations to highlight the strong flavor of the Chinese New Year. The atmosphere of the Chinese New Year is full of ceremonies. This is the first time for the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna to officially celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. Guests from all countries participating in the celebration exchanged wishes for the Spring Festival, tasted dumplings, dumplings, spring rolls and other Chinese delicacies, and watched cultural performances with Chinese characteristics, such as "Spring Festival Overture", "Jasmine Flower", Beijing Opera, and Dunhuang Dance.

The United Nations Postal Administration has also carefully prepared a "small gift" for the Spring Festival - a Chinese zodiac stamp with the theme of "Chinese Lunar New Year". It has been a tradition for many years for the United Nations to design zodiac stamps. This year's stamp design is quite ingenious. A fine brushwork style dragon hovers in the auspicious clouds, with peonies in between.

Not only in the United Nations, Spring Festival celebrations are becoming a global cultural event.

In Recife, Brazil, local people put on their own faucets to experience the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival in the Year of the Dragon; At the "Spring Festival Temple Fair" held in Heidelberg, Germany, folk experiences such as playing diabolo, pasting spring couplets, and writing the word "Fu" attracted tourists to stop; At Hanoi University in Vietnam, hundreds of students and people from all walks of life experience calligraphy, Chinese painting, paper cutting, watch Hanfu shows, song and dance performances, taste traditional food such as spring rolls, zongzi, dumplings, tangyuan, and exchange traditional culture

At present, the Spring Festival folk activities have spread to nearly 200 countries and regions around the world, and nearly 20 countries have designated the Spring Festival as a legal holiday. The "international style" of the Spring Festival is becoming more and more sufficient. The colorful activities enable people in different countries to share Chinese culture and spend a good time together.

Behind the rising overseas "Spring Festival fever" is the world's deepening understanding of this traditional Chinese festival. Deng Hongsen, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, said that the Spring Festival carries the Chinese family and cultural values. The celebration of the Chinese New Year held by the United Nations is the best interpretation of the concept of "one family under heaven".

The Spring Festival inherits the good wishes of family harmony, neighborhood harmony and national peace, and contains feelings and expectations shared by all mankind. As the Spring Festival approaches, some national dignitaries and leaders of international institutions send their best wishes for the New Year, which has become a "regular program".

On February 6, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Guterres, in his speech on the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon, extended his festive wishes to the Chinese people around the world and thanked China for its firm support for multilateralism. He also mentioned that "the dragon symbolizes vitality, wisdom, protection and good luck, which is exactly what we need to meet today's global challenges".

Uruguay's ambassador to China Fernando Lugolis is about to spend the ninth Spring Festival in China. He said that the Spring Festival is not only a festival in China, but also a festival in the world. This is a good time to celebrate the reunion and a great time to wish the world more peace and prosperity.

The Spring Festival inherits the traditional Chinese cultural concept of peace, harmony and harmony, and is full of sincere blessings for people. China is passing on the joy of this traditional festival to the world. "The arrival of the Spring Festival in the world is a vivid manifestation of the exchange and mutual learning between Chinese civilization and different civilizations, as well as the sharing of beauty and common interests." Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, "We wish people all over the world to share the joy of the Spring Festival, feel the breath of spring, and work together for a happier and better tomorrow."
