As the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon is approaching, the Shanxi Museum presents a cultural feast for the audience, including six major exhibitions, one hundred activities, and one hundred cultural and creative projects, to create a strong festival atmosphere and invite the audience to "celebrate the Spring Festival in the museum".

"Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of Shanxi Museum" gathers more than 60 pieces of fine calligraphy and painting works of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties collected by Shanxi Museum, showing the charm of Chinese calligraphy and painting art, of which the first-class cultural relics account for 25%. The "Immortality of Instantaneous Condensation - Animal Specimen Exhibition of Shanxi Museum" shows 89 rare animal specimens collected by Shanxi Museum, of which there are many national first-class and second-class protected animals. Some species are endangered and extremely precious. "This Hunan is courteous - Hunan Shang and Zhou Bronze Art Exhibition" gathers nearly 100 pieces of fine bronzes unearthed in Hunan from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, representing the magnificent and colorful ancient Hunan bronze culture. The "Dragon Traveling in China - the Joint Exhibition of Cultural Relics in the Year of the Dragon in Jiachen" presented hundreds of images of cultural relics and artworks related to the dragon, and exhibited the painted dragon plate of Longshan culture, the green glazed chicken head pot with dragon handle in the Northern Qi Dynasty and other museum treasures. "Ink and color space is arbitrary - Lu Xianneng donated paintings exhibition" shows more than 90 paintings donated to Shanxi Museum by Lu Xianneng, a painter, and systematically presents Lu Xianneng's artistic and educational achievements. "Ruixiang Chongguang - Special Exhibition of Five Treasures in the Underground Palace of the Tang Dynasty Tower Base of Taiyuan Longquan Temple" unveiled the mysterious veil of Buddhist treasures in the underground palace of the Tang Dynasty tower base of Taiyuan Longquan Temple, highlighting the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.

During the Spring Festival, Shanxi Museum will launch a hundred educational activities, inviting the audience to print New Year pictures, expand inscriptions, play ancient music, paint landscapes... to feel the breadth and depth of Chinese civilization.

In addition, there are 100 new cultural and creative products to meet the audience. Among them, there are 21 new cultural and creative products of Dragon Element, covering stationery, ice cream, daily necessities, hand-operated games and other types.
