The website of the People's Government of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, recently released the High Quality Development Plan for Guangzhou's Digital Economy, which draws a blueprint for the development of Guangzhou's digital economy, and proposes to initially build Guangzhou into a world leading digital economy leading city by 2025, that is, with the vision of building a new and brilliant global digital economy dynamic city, to build "five districts, three capitals and three cities" with high standards.
The Plan proposes to build a new pattern of "one core leading and multi support". By 2025, the added value of the core industries of Guangzhou's digital economy will account for 15% of the regional GDP. The Plan also looks forward to new breakthroughs in digital technology in artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain and other fields; Form hundreds of billion level industrial chain clusters such as semiconductor and integrated circuit, ultra-high definition video and new display, software and ICT; Cross border e-commerce, live broadcast economy, sharing economy, platform economy and other new formats and models are developing healthily and vigorously; To form an integrated and collaborative spatial layout, a ubiquitous and interconnected digital base, an integrated and innovative digital industry, a robust and sophisticated governance capability, and a shared digital ecosystem.
