Yesterday, Guangxi, Guangdong and other places experienced heavy rainfall, while Northeast, North China and other places experienced showers and severe convection weather. It is expected that there will be rainstorm disaster risks in Guangdong, Fujian and other places from the 20th to the 21st. We will pay attention to the possible mountain torrents, geological disasters and urban and rural waterlogging caused by local heavy rainfall, and pay attention to the local severe convection weather hazards; On the 20th, some waters in the Yellow River, Huaihe River and East China Sea paid attention to the influence of fog weather on ship navigation.

There will be strong precipitation along the coast of Guangdong and Fujian

It is estimated that from 08:00 on May 20 to 08:00 on May 21, there will be heavy rain in parts of central and eastern Guangdong, eastern Fujian, central and eastern Hainan Island, among which, there will be heavy rain (100~150 mm) in parts of coastal areas in southern Guangdong and southeastern Fujian. Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-time heavy rainfall (the maximum hourly rainfall is 20~50 mm, and the local rainfall can exceed 60 mm), and there are thunderstorms, gales and other severe convective weather locally. The Central Meteorological Station issued a yellow rainstorm warning at 06:00 on May 20.

Heavy fog in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea and coastal waters in East China

It is expected that from day to night on May 20, there will be heavy fog in most of the Yellow Sea, the northwest of the East China Sea, the eastern and southern coastal waters of Shandong Peninsula, the coastal waters of Jiangsu, the Yangtze River estuary and the waters near Hangzhou Bay, with visibility less than 1km. At 06:00 on May 20, the Central Meteorological Station continued to issue a yellow fog warning.

Specific forecast for the next three days in China

From 08:00 on May 20 to 08:00 on May 21, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of central and eastern Guangdong, most of Fujian, southern Jiangxi, southern Yunnan, most of Hainan Island, most of Taiwan Island and Ili River Valley in Xinjiang, among which, there were heavy rains or torrential rains (100~150 mm) in parts of coastal areas in central and southeast Guangdong, southeast Fujian, and eastern Hainan Island. The eastern part of Xinjiang and some areas of the South Xinjiang Basin have 4~6 wind, of which some areas of the South Xinjiang Basin have 6~7 wind.

From 08:00 on May 21 to 08:00 on May 22, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of eastern Guangdong, southeastern Fujian, Hainan Island, most of Taiwan Island and other places, among which, there were heavy rains or torrential rains (100~120mm) in parts of eastern Guangdong, southeastern Hainan Island and other places. Some areas in northern Inner Mongolia, central Liaoning, eastern Xinjiang and southern Xinjiang Basin have 4~6 wind, of which some areas in eastern Xinjiang have 8~9 wind.

From 08:00 on May 22 to 08:00 on May 23, light to moderate rain occurred in parts of northern and eastern Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, northern Liaoning, Ili River Valley in Xinjiang, most of Tibet, southern Sichuan, Yunnan, eastern Guangxi, Guangdong, most of Hunan, Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, Taiwan Island, Hainan Island, etc, Heavy rain (25~45mm) occurs in some areas of southeast Fujian and southwest Hainan Island. Some areas in most of Inner Mongolia, southeast of Heilongjiang, central Liaoning, and Nanjiang Basin in Xinjiang have 4-5 winds.
