Since the release of the new Canon M series camera M6II, I have paid special attention to the old M6. Although I have used a lot of cameras before, I like to take only a light camera when I go out to play except for two full frame cameras when I work. A few days after Canon released the M6II, I removed the M6, The parameters and indicators of the M6II are so attractive to me. In addition, I have always liked Canon colors, and I have many personal portraits, so the M6II has become the only machine I want to buy. I had planned to wait two months for the price to drop slightly, but it seemed that I could not hold back. I launched the M6II four days ago.
It took 4 days and 3 days after the machine arrived. One day, I took the M6II with me to take photos of an activity. I am very satisfied with the use of this small machine in the past two days.
First of all, focusing is really a great progress. I feel that it is almost the same as the 6400 at the same level. Compared with the EOSR on the hand, except that the human eye can't recognize it at a long distance, I feel that it is faster than the EOSR (EOSR has updated 1.4 firmware). At a distance of 5 meters, 32 1.4 firmly bites the head of a person, and even when turning or running, it tracks steadily. It is needless to say that continuous shooting is very strong. Although the new CMOS has pushed APS-C to the level of 32 million pixels, its high sensitivity and tolerance are very excellent. I seldom used 5D3 to pull the high sensitivity above 800, but the M6II felt that 1000 was OK. I was very satisfied with the details and sharpness after the photo was enlarged. Of course, I feel that the 22 cakes are a little insufficient for this machine! In terms of color, I think it is closer to the color of 5D3.
For me, I am very satisfied with the M6II. I have no problem using it in various occasions. I am not a photographer who cares about the picture frame very much. I always want to take photos with such a small body. Of course, I also hope Canon can introduce a wide angle zoom with a constant aperture and a slightly larger aperture, so that it is convenient to travel and work.
