HKC G4 plus color level test

——Parsing 1

In addition to people's demand for LCD display to display as many colors as possible, another key pain point is the accurate color restoration ability, that is, the display is required to be able to reflect each color on the display screen. Now let's take a look at the color reproduction ability of HKC G4 Plus. The index of color restoration accuracy is reflected by Δ E value in the industry. Δ E can quantify the accuracy of color restoration into a numerical value, which can accurately reflect the accuracy of colors displayed on the display.

Note: Δ E value reflects the difference between the display and the standard value, so the smaller the value, the better. The higher the score, the more distorted the color.

Color restoration accuracy test results

On the left side of the test result graph is the Δ E value of each color displayed by HKC G4 Plus. The smaller the value, the more accurate the color is displayed. For 48 colors in the test, the average Δ E value is 0.96, and the minimum value is 0.16. Among the 48 test colors, the Δ E value of most colors is below 1, which shows that HKC G4 Plus is very good for restoring most colors.
Interpretation of Δ E value:
The Δ E value is between 1.6 and 3.2, and the human eye is basically unable to distinguish the difference of color. It is occupied by a few professional display brands for a long time, such as Yizhuo, NEC and Mitsubishi.
The Δ E value is between 3.2 and 6.5. Professionally trained people can distinguish the difference, but ordinary people cannot observe the difference. Generally, professional liquid crystals can meet this standard, while a few excellent consumer liquid crystals can also enter this range.
The Δ E value is more than 6.5, and we normal people can see the difference of its display color now.
