Measures for the Management of Tropical Crop Germplasm Resources Nursery (for Trial Implementation)

Article 2   The Measures are applicable to the Tropical Crop Germplasm Resources Protection Project Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture A tropical crop germplasm resource nursery.

Article 5   Germplasm nursery is mainly responsible for collection, preservation and identification of tropical crop germplasm resources Evaluation, germplasm innovation and sharing.

Article 6   Collection and preservation of germplasm nursery:

（1） Excellent, rare, ancient or local tropical crop germplasm resources Source;

（2） Relatives or wild species of tropical crops;

（3） Tropical crop germplasm resources with important economic value or scientific research value Source.

 

Article 7   Germplasm nursery collects tropical crop germplasm resources according to law and establishes original files Case (see Schedule I).

Article 8   Overseas introduction must go through quarantine procedures as required, and imported germplasm must be separated It can be stored in the nursery only after it is confirmed that there are no quarantine pests after trial planting or detoxification treatment.

Article 14   Identification and evaluation of germplasm resources mainly include:

（2） Biological learning: growth period, phenology, growth and bearing habits, etc;

（3） Quality characteristics: appearance, nutrition, flavor, storage Processing quality;

（6） Stress resistance: resistance to drought, cold and other adverse environments.

Article 20 The Ministry of Agriculture shall timely organize the identification of germplasm nursery.
