At the lighting ceremony, Kunshan Huiju Square was awarded the title of "Suzhou Taiwan Cultural Tourism Exchange Demonstration Base", helping the compatriots across the Taiwan Straits to sublimate friendship, warm feelings and upgrade exchanges. At the same time, the 4th Cross Strait Youth Lantern Design Competition was held, as well as the 2023 Friends of Kunshan "Bingtilian Award" and "Star of Investment Promotion and Business Protection" award ceremony.
Streaming light and bright colors make people drunk in the south of the Yangtze River. On that night, Kunshan Huiju Square and Zhouzhuang two light areas were lit simultaneously. Among them, Huiju Square light area, with digital light display as the main part and traditional light group display as the auxiliary part, meticulously creates series of light groups such as "Remembering Cross Strait Emotion", "Striving for Kunshan", "Yuan Universe Kunshan", and uses new digital light technology and Yuan Universe AR technology to achieve a new experience of cultural tourism integrating virtual reality. Zhouzhuang Light Zone will last until January 1, 2024. The main light zone is equipped with creative light groups with traditional customs and culture, cultural tourism IP image, urban landmark style and features as the theme elements, and the Metauniverse Digital Light and Shadow Forest Secret Area, which outlines the picture of light scenes.
