On August 16, www.taiwan.com.cn, "We are about to enter the university, and we hope you will study hard and become talents as soon as possible..." On the morning of August 13, Zong Xuhui, president of the Kunshan Association of Taiwan Affairs, presented awards and books to Taiwanese children who had passed the "double first-class" university. It is reported that this year, more than 100 Taiwanese students in Kunshan City were admitted to "double first-class" universities.

As a highland of cross-strait cooperation and exchange, more and more Taiwanese families are living in Kun'an. In order to solve the worries of Taiwan compatriots in Kunshan, Kunshan City pays close attention to the education of Taiwan compatriots' children. In addition to ensuring that Taiwan compatriots should know and enjoy all kinds of Taiwan friendly measures, the Municipal Education Bureau has also set up a leading group to be responsible for the education service of Taiwan compatriots' children in the city, opened a school entrance hotline, and arranged special personnel to answer questions point-to-point. After being accepted by the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Association, reviewed and recognized by the Taiwan Affairs Office, and arranged by the Education Bureau, the number of Taiwanese students enrolled nearby in the city each year reached more than 200, with 100% satisfaction.

"Last year, our son was successfully admitted to Tongji University in Shanghai, and this year, our daughter was admitted to Zhejiang University with excellent results. We are very proud." Huang Yuwen from Taoyuan City, Taiwan, obtained the admission notice of Zhejiang University through the joint examination of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Wang Peiying, Huang Yuwen's mother, said that more than ten years ago, his family came to Kunshan from Taiwan and let their children study in public schools. First, they trusted the mainland's education system, and second, they hoped to better integrate into Kunshan. Now it seems that the original choice is very correct.

Zhao Shu, director of the Kunshan Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, said that the Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office will always adhere to the concept of "one family on both sides of the Taiwan Straits", focus on the general concerns and actual needs of Taiwan compatriots, comprehensively implement policies and measures that benefit Taiwan and the people, and create the best conditions for Taiwan compatriots to study, work, start businesses and live in Kunshan; It is also hoped that Taiwanese students, after entering the university gate, will be able to care about Kunshan, drive people around them to go back to Kunshan to pursue, build and realize their dreams, and participate in the modernization of Kunshan.
