Recently, the 2023 Cross Strait Industrial Internet Integration Development Seminar with the theme of "AI and Digital Transformation of Manufacturing" was held in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. On the scene, experts, scholars, enterprise representatives and others gathered together to focus on digital transformation, smart manufacturing, AI big model, edge computing and other fields for discussion, collision of wisdom, and sharing of solutions, grasp the new opportunities and challenges brought by the rapid development of industrial Internet, and accelerate the promotion of industrial integration between the two shores.
"The industrial Internet industry across the Taiwan Straits has broad complementary advantages and space for cooperation and development." Li Shiqin, convener of the Information and Communication Industry Cooperation Promotion Group of the Cross Straits Entrepreneurs Summit, said in his speech that he expected the two sides to strengthen cooperation in emerging fields such as AI, big data, blockchain, and deepen exchanges in industrial Internet, new energy vehicles, digital trade, cross-border e-commerce and other fields, Cooperate to promote digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, and jointly promote the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy.
As the product of the deep integration of new generation information technology and manufacturing industry, industrial Internet is an important cornerstone of the digital transformation of manufacturing industry. Keynote speech session, ACM/IEEE Fellow Li Xiangyang, professor of the University of Science and Technology of China, and Gu Weixi, deputy director of the Institute of Intelligence of the China Industrial Internet Research Institute, delivered keynote speeches around the "Preliminary Exploration of Industrial Intelligence Driven by 'Data+Knowledge' under the Collaboration of End to Edge Cloud", "Development and Evaluation of AI Big Models", and representatives of Xinhan Group, Minshi Group, Jianghang Intelligent and other enterprises made keynote reports.
At the seminar, the "Cross Strait Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Case Collection Activity" was officially launched. This collection activity aims to lead the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises across the Taiwan Straits with typical cases, provide specific paths for enterprises to refer to, and let more enterprises truly "dare to use", "willing to use" and "able to use" the industrial Internet.

As one of the regions with the most intensive Taiwan funded enterprises and the most active cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, Kunshan has actively seized the opportunities of digital industrialization and industry digitalization in recent years, comprehensively promoted the integrated layout of "core cloud network end chain", and accelerated the construction of digital industry innovation clusters with regional competitiveness and international influence. Up to now, the added value of the core industries of Kunshan's digital economy has exceeded 100 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 24% of GDP, and more than 4000 "intelligent transformation and digital transformation" projects have been implemented, ranking first in the national county industrial Internet development index released by the China Industrial Internet Research Institute.
