When applying for additional certificates, the following materials shall be provided:
1. File Registration Form for Applying for Consular Certification/Additional Certificates
If consular authentication/additional certificate online filling subsystem is used, this form will be automatically generated.
2. Legal and valid identity documents:
Chinese citizens shall submit the original and copy of their resident identity cards. If you are an overseas Chinese and do not hold a valid resident identity card, you should submit the original passport and a copy of the information page. If you are a resident of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, you should submit the original and copies of the "Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents", "Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents" or travel permits.
Foreign citizens shall submit the original passport or other international travel documents and copies of the information pages.
3. The original of the valid document for applying for the additional certificate.
4. The national public dispatched overseas personnel and overseas students shall also provide the original of the letter of introduction of the unit and the original of the approval of the overseas mission.
5. For the additional certificate of the enterprise's application for commercial documents, the original commercial documents or bills, and the original letter of introduction of the company shall also be provided.
6. The diplomatic or consular office stationed in China shall also submit the original of the note issued by it when it handles the additional certificate for its own citizens.
7. Other materials deemed necessary by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Note: For the additional certificate of the notarial certificate for foreign citizens to adopt Chinese children, in addition to their legal and valid identity documents, they should also submit the original of the note from the diplomatic or consular office in China and the copy of the Adoption Registration Certificate.
