1、 The relevant documents of the applicant have been authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the applicant is located or by an institution authorized to handle consular authentication;
2、 The document is authentic and legal, and has no content that may damage China's national and social public interests;
3、 If the document applying for authentication is more than two pages long, it shall be bound in a way that is not easy to be removed or replaced, such as sealing with lacquer, sealing with a cross stitch seal or steel seal.
4、 According to the regulations of relevant domestic departments, the certificate of no spouse used for marriage registration in mainland China is valid within 6 months from the date of issuance. Therefore, if the above certificate is more than 6 months from the date of issuance, the party concerned shall handle it again.
5、 The notarial certificate of marital status, health and no criminal record for adoption in China that has been notarized for more than 6 months shall not be authenticated.
6、 The consular officers of embassies and consulates abroad will review the documents applied for certification. If problems are found, including incomplete local notarization or certification procedures, non-standard format, illegal content, alteration, dismantling and replacement of documents, the certification application will not be accepted.
7、 The consular officer may request the applicant to provide other materials related to the certification matters.
8、 If the contents of a document certified by the consul are changed or replaced, the consular certification shall be invalid.
9、 Documents authenticated by embassies and consulates abroad shall not be changed or replaced. The applicant shall bear the problems and legal liabilities arising from the applicant's self modification or replacement of documents.
