On September 29, the Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro held an annual online forum for consular assistance volunteers. Consul General Tian Min attended and delivered a speech. Tian stressed that since the Consulate General established the consular assistance volunteer mechanism, volunteers from all walks of life in the Consulate General have always regarded safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens as their mission and responsibility, actively participated in the preventive insurance work of the Consulate General, and cooperated with the Consulate General in handling many unexpected insurance cases, which has become the right arm of the Consulate General in carrying out the insurance work. Tian thanked the consul for helping the volunteers with their hard work and selfless dedication, and hoped that the consul would help the volunteers to carry forward patriotism and the spirit of volunteerism, be dutiful, not afraid of difficulties, and do a good job in helping the trapped compatriots; Carefully study the laws and regulations of the host country, follow up the current events in Brazil and the adjustment of policies and regulations, and constantly improve the working ability based on their own professional characteristics; In daily life and carrying out the work of receiving insurance, strict protective measures must be taken to ensure their own safety.

Tian pointed out that the world is facing a great change that has not happened in a century. The new coronal epidemic has swept the world. The epidemic has been delayed for more than a year, and the insurance work is facing many new challenges.
