According to the Xinhua News Agency, some education and training institutions have recently been unable to attend classes as scheduled, closed their doors and found it difficult to refund fees, which has aroused social concern. Recently, the Consumer Committee of Hunan Province issued a consumer warning: prepaid education and training should be cautious and beware of the trap of "financial loans". It is understood that some illegal operators induce consumers to take the way of "installment payment" to lend to the third-party financial platform they cooperate with. After the education and training institutions close down, the loan contract and debt relationship between consumers and the third-party financial platform will not be terminated. If consumers do not repay the loans on schedule, personal credit investigation will be affected.
The Consumer Committee of Hunan Province suggested that consumers should sign written contracts with education and training institutions, issue formal invoices, and properly keep consumption vouchers such as contracts and invoices. In case of any abnormal operation or infringement of legal rights and interests, complaints shall be made to the relevant administrative departments or the local consumer committee. In case of business running away, report to the local public security organ or file a lawsuit to the people's court in time.
