Samsung plans to reduce the proportion of Vietnamese smartphone production to 40% next year

The webmaster's home (ChinaZ. com) reported on November 9: According to Taiwan Electronic Times, Samsung will continue to diversify its global production base. The proportion of smart phone production in the company's Vietnam factory will drop from 50% this year to 40% next year.

It is reported that Samsung will reorganize more than 50% of its production bases in Vietnam. Samsung has formulated a plan to produce 46% mobile communication equipment in Taiyingyan and Bonin provinces of Vietnam next year. Mobile devices include smart phones, tablets, etc. Among them, smart phones account for 90% of this batch of plans. Samsung plans to produce 32% and 14% of its mobile phone shipments in Taiying Wuyan and Boning provinces respectively.

According to industry analysis, rising labor costs in Vietnam and slowing global consumer markets are considered to be the main reasons behind Samsung's move.
