How can I back up iTunes to my phone? How can I change the path of the backup file of iTunes?

1. Open iTunes. Make sure you are using the latest version.

How do I change the path of iTunes backup files?

1. Download the Junction file, unzip it and copy and paste the Junction.exe into the Windows directory. Please specify the download address of the junction file.

2. Open iTunes backup path: C: Users Username AppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSync, where the directory MobileSync is used to store backup files.

3. Cut the directory MobileSync to another disk you want to back up, such as F disk: F: itunes.

4. Run cmd. Enter the following command: junction "C: Users User Name AppDataRoamingAppleComputerMobileSync" F: itunesMobileSync. Note that the user name should be changed to your host name, for example: pc. Then enter, the Junction application request dialog box will pop up.

5. Click Agree, and you will be prompted: Created: C: Users User Name AppDataRoamingApple ComputerMobileSyncTargeted at: F: itunesMobileSync indicates that it has succeeded. At this time, when you look back at the icon of the original backup folder, there will be a shortcut arrow. You have successfully changed the backup path of iTunes.

The folder with a small arrow indicates that it is a linked directory. The above operations are equivalent to moving the folder of disk C to disk F. The directory of disk C is just a connected directory, which is like an actual directory. The program will not find any difference between the connected directory and the ordinary directory. The contents of the folder of the connected directory and the original directory are the same, If you make changes to the contents of any folder, the other folder will also change accordingly, but the disk space usage has not changed, because it is just a connection, not copying and synchronizing the original file, which is the biggest difference from the general folder shortcuts. For Win7 and Vista users, in addition to using the junction command, you can also use the mklink command that comes with the system. The effect is the same. It also implements the symbolic link function.
