In this competition, David Dai won the men's single skating champion of the Asian Figure Skating Open with a total score of 195.14 points, which was the first time that Shenzhen figure skaters won this honor in an international competition on behalf of China.

David Dai was interviewed by the media after winning the prize. He said that being able to win glory for the country and honor for Shenzhen in winter events as a southern athlete is the best embodiment of realizing personal value. David Dai said frankly after the competition that good results can be obtained by participating in the Asian Figure Skating Open.
