The recent sunny weather in Henan is favorable for the control of wheat scab

In the past 7 days, there was a strong wind, precipitation and cooling weather process in Henan Province. Large scale precipitation started at the night of the 21st and lasted to the 24th. The average temperature of the province was 14.5 ℃, and the cumulative precipitation was 36.4mm (Figure 1), increasing the meteorological risk of scab. At present, most of the southern six cities have suitable soil moisture, and some of them are wet (Figure 2). In the next 7 days, the province will be dominated by sunny to cloudy weather, with wind force of 3-4, which is conducive to field ventilation and humidity reduction and wheat scab prevention and control. It is suggested to grasp the favorable weather conditions in the near future, actively carry out comprehensive disease prevention and control, and pay attention to secondary supplementary prevention in areas that have been sprayed before rain.

Note: After the wheat enters the heading and flowering stage, the average daily temperature is above 15 ℃, and rainy days, fog or air relative humidity is greater than 85% for more than three consecutive days, which are conducive to the onset of scab. The longer the duration of meeting this condition, the greater the induction of scab.
