Recently, loquat in Huangshi Village, Yingqian Street, Changle District was officially listed. The branches of loquats are luxuriant, and the yellow loquats hang all over the branches. The growers shuttle through the forest to pick mature loquats, and their faces are filled with the joy of harvest.

"This year, the quality of loquat is quite good. It can be sold for 30 to 32 yuan per kilogram, or 36 yuan if it is good. It is very popular in the market." Planter Lin Huamei said happily that several mu of loquat trees can bring more than 20000 yuan in net income this year.

Huangshi Village enjoys the reputation of "hometown of loquat" and has a long history of loquat planting. Almost all villagers have planted loquat, with an area of nearly 1000 mu and an annual total output value of 3.5 million yuan.

Lin Huamei said that in the process of planting loquat in Huangshi Village, physical means such as pest control lamp and yellow board were used to eliminate diseases; In terms of fertilization, the use of chemical fertilizer was reduced and farmyard manure was increased; No bagging during the fruit bearing period, so that the fruit can be fully exposed to the sun. In addition, Huangshi Village has beautiful scenery, good water quality and acidic soil. Its unique geographical conditions provide a good growth environment for loquats. The loquats planted are large, thin, juicy, tender and delicious, which are loved by consumers.
