Main tea set
(1) Teapot
Teapot is the main container for making tea. Generally, pottery pots are the main containers, in addition to porcelain pots and stone pots. Superior tea emphasizes perfect color, fragrance, sweet throat rhyme and foam resistance; A good teapot should not only be elegant in appearance and smooth in texture, but also practical. There is no good tea without a good pot to brew, so the essence of tea cannot be displayed; There is no good tea without a good pot, which always makes people feel that there is a flaw in beauty.
A good teapot should have the following conditions.
① The shape and appearance of the pot should not only have aesthetic feeling, but also be convenient to place people and have enough water capacity. The water from the spout should be smooth. It is better to pour the water from the spout so that there is no water in the kettle. Do not pour tea juice or splash water.
② The precision of a pot refers to the tightness of the lid and the body. The higher the tightness, the better. The spout of the kettle and the spout of the water outlet should be on the same level. The body of the pot should be shallow rather than deep, and the lid should be tight rather than loose.
③ The pot can be used if it has a slight tile smell, but if it has a burning smell or other odor, such as oil smell or artificial coloring, it is not recommended. Try to avoid mud smell and odor.
④ The texture of the teapot mainly depends on the fetal bone and its color. The fetal bone is firm and its color is moist; It can adapt to the rapid changes of cold and heat, without leakage and fracture.
⑤ The characteristics of the pot are best matched with the characteristics of the tea. The texture can match the type of tea brewed, giving full play to the characteristics of the tea.
⑥ After making tea, the tea soup can keep warm and will not dissipate heat too quickly, which is suitable for the tea ingredients to be leached in a short time.
⑦ The force point of the pot handle should be located (or close to) the center of gravity of the pot body when receiving water.
(2) Tea boat
A tea boat is a container for placing teapots. Put tea in the teapot, pour boiling water into it, put it in the tea boat, and then pour boiling water into the teapot to warm it. The poured boiling water can also be used to wash tea cups. Tea boats are also called tea pools or pot bearers, and their commonly used functions are roughly as follows: holding hot water to scald cups, holding tea overflowing from pots, and keeping warm.
(3) Tea Sea
Tea Sea is also called Tea Cup or Fair Cup. After the tea soup in the teapot is soaked to the proper concentration, the tea soup is poured into the tea sea, and then poured into each small tea cup to ensure the uniform concentration of the tea soup. A filter screen can also be covered on the tea sea to filter out tea dregs and tea powder. When there is no special tea sea, it can also be used as a teapot. Its general function is: to hold the brewed tea soup, and then pour each cup separately, so that the concentration of each cup of tea soup is the same; Settle the tea residue.
(4) Tea cup
There are all kinds and sizes of tea cups. Drink different tea with different cups. In order to appreciate the color of Pu'er tea soup and clean it easily, the inside of the cup is white or light color, or choose a glass tea cup. In recent years, it is also popular to smell tea while drinking tea. According to the shape and color of the teapot, choose the appropriate teacup, which is also very relevant. The requirements for the cup are very good. It can be held comfortably, and the mouth is comfortable and the entrance is smooth.
(5) Cover bowl
Covering bowl or cup is divided into tea bowl, bowl cover and saucer. The cup covered tea set is called "Sancai Bowl" in Liao Dynasty. The three talents are heaven, earth and people. The tea cover is called "heaven". The tea holder is in the "ground" of the lower Wei River, and the bowl is in the "people" of the middle Wei River. A pair of tea sets is a small world, a small universe, including the ancient philosopher's "heaven, earth, human education" theory. When did the cover bowl originate? It is still uncertain.
(6) Tea tray
Tea tray refers to the tray used to hold tea cups or other tea sets, so as to receive the tea water flowing out or poured out during the tea making process. The tea tray can also be used as a tray for placing tea cups. There are plastic products, stainless steel products, round and rectangular shapes, etc.
