"Don't be greedy for speed, ambitious or dazzled"
Behind his success is his unique experience. In 1981, Lu Hongxun entered a technical school after failing the college entrance examination. Two years later, he became a worker of AVIC Air to Air Missile Research Institute. Lu Hongxun recalled that there was a gap at that time, but the low starting point also taught him to work hard in a down-to-earth manner: "Don't be greedy for speed, not ambitious, not dazzled."
With such "heart" strength, Lu Hongxun devoted his time to boring professional study. The best time for Lu Hongxun to study hard and learn mechanical English and computer technology by himself is in his spare time, weekends and other holidays. In addition to reading books, Lu Hongxun has a habit of forcing himself to stand in front of the CNC machine tool whenever he has time to study its structure and working principle.
"There is no best, only better"
"Craftsmen treat their works like artists. In his standard, there is no best, only better." Wang Baodong, a fellow worker of Lu Hongxun and a national technical expert, sighs with emotion. Every time he receives a task, he always studies the drawings first, looks at the previous process, procedures and processing methods, and then uses his own brain to ponder, never copying others' methods.
This also means that all previous standards may be "overturned and restarted" by Lu Hongxun. And every product in his hands is carefully carved and patiently polished as a handicraft.
"Never forget the original intention, and work hard for a long time"
In fact, Lu Hongxun, as a craftsman with superb skills, has become an indispensable part of China's air-to-air missile team. However, in AVIC Air to Air Missile Research Institute, many young people regard becoming Lu Hongxun's apprentice as their goal at the beginning of their career because of their reputation and good personality, and they "give everything they can" to their apprentices. |
Lu Hongxun, CNC programmer and senior technician of AVIC Air to Air Missile Research Institute.
In 1983, at the age of 20, Lu Hongxun graduated from the Technical School of China Air to Air Missile Research Institute and was assigned to the 11th Workshop of the Institute as a fitter. He likes to use his head and knows everything at once. His work is unique.
In 1986, the Institute introduced a large number of CNC equipment, and the 11th Workshop also set up a special CNC class. Lu Hongxun, who graduated from a technical school and was a fitter, worked hard to learn English and computer technology by himself, and created "three firsts" at one fell swoop: he compiled the first processing program of the Institute on CNC machine tools, worked out the first CNC machining parts, and became the first technical worker in the Institute to comprehensively master the operation and programming of CNC machine tools.
Since 1996, he has used three years of spare time to compile the 100000 word "CNC Machining Technology". This pamphlet has become the "golden key" when the team meets difficulties in the process of NC machining.
Since 1998, Lu Hongxun has developed a variety of software programs using the "multi zero point automatic calculation method of CNC machine tools" that he has explored, greatly reducing the tooling manufacturing cost and processing cycle, and saving about 100000 yuan in the comprehensive cost of tooling manufacturing every year.
In 2002, Lu Hongxun won the first prize of the 6th China Skills Award and the highest honor of Chinese skilled talents for his outstanding achievements.
Now in China's aviation system, the name of Lu Hongxun is unknown. "The post can be ordinary, but life can never be dull." This is Lu Hongxun, a "great craftsman" rooted in the grassroots. |
