Recently, the GHM8500 honing machine independently developed by him and his team was delivered for the first time. From the beginning of researching and developing CNC honing machine in 2008, to now, the independent research and development achievements have been transformed from "self use" to products, realizing the transformation of achievements. Liu Yunqing's honing machine road has been a whole decade.

In 1996, Liu Yunqing, a technical secondary school graduate, entered CRRC Qishuyan Institute and became an ordinary mechanic fitter. For more than 20 years, Liu Yunqing has lived in a dormitory near his work unit. After dinner every day, he goes to the workshop to ponder the structure of the machine, think about the key problems in maintenance, and go to the library to learn professional knowledge when he has time.

Through continuous learning and practice, Liu Yunqing has developed the ability of "listening to sounds and distinguishing symptoms". Walking among hundreds of workshop machines, he could hear which machine might be "sick" from the roar, accurately judge the "focus", and then solve the problem. Colleagues always call him a "miracle doctor", saying that he can apply medicine like a doctor and repair it quickly and well.

　　 Stick to research and "gamble" to develop CNC honing machine

CNC honing machine is a kind of grinding equipment used for high-precision machining of parts. In 2008, due to technological monopoly, the CNC honing machine, as a key process equipment, could only rely on imports. Imported equipment is not only expensive, but also has frequent failures and high maintenance costs.

"Can only be stuck by others? Can't the Chinese develop a more cost-effective CNC honing machine?" Liu Yunqing thought to himself. Under the "pique", Liu Yunqing devoted himself to the development of a new type of CNC honing machine. Read a lot of data, analyze various data, transform idle waste equipment... Just to test and master the relevant honing process, we tried more than 100 kinds of tools and grinding media with different ratios.

After thousands of repeated tests, the first new gantry full floating CNC honing machine was born. Its precision, yield and other performances are far superior to similar foreign equipment, and its manufacturing cost is only a quarter of that of imported equipment, filling the domestic gap.

Liu Yunqing has a dream that he wants to build more automated and intelligent production lines and customize the most suitable system solutions for customers.

In 2018, Liu Yunqing's focus also shifted from maintenance and research and development to building automated production lines and intelligent workshops. This is a new challenge for Liu Yunqing. Because designing production lines and workshops means that they are both product developers and users; He is not only responsible for customers, but also responsible for the factory. His responsibility is even heavier.

In addition, Liu Yunqing also focuses on robots. In order to reduce the intervention of the operator and make the self maintenance accuracy of the machine reach ± 0.001 mm, he and the team members revised and improved the machine again and again, and also carried out the industrial design of the appearance simultaneously. Liu Yunqing has transformed more than 600 sets of equipment, and their team has tackled more than 20 key projects, of which the robot high-pressure cleaning machine is one of the highlights, which has brought more than 50 million yuan of orders to the enterprise. At present, this robot high-pressure cleaning machine has cleaned more than 1 million oil pump shells, all of which can meet customer requirements.

At the scene of robot automation demonstration production line, Liu Yunqing told the Science and Technology Daily that at present, seven production lines have started the "machine replacement" plan, and each automatic line can reduce five operators and achieve continuous operation.

"In the future, the company will build intelligent production, start with improving production efficiency, quality assurance ability, resource utilization efficiency, logistics management level and other aspects, realize lean production construction through automation, informatization and intelligence, and complete the construction of the factory big data system," said Liu Yunqing.
