Daming Palace, the imperial palace of the Tang Dynasty, the political center and national symbol of the Tang Dynasty, can be divided into two parts: the former dynasty and the inner court. The former dynasty was dominated by meetings, and the inner court was dominated by living, dining and touring. The center of the former dynasty was Hanyuan Hall (Outer Court), Xuanzheng Hall (Middle Court), Zichen Hall (Inner Court).
