The traditional Cossack cavalry sabre is about 90cm long. It is made of refined steel smelted from medium Asian iron ores. It has a thick back and wide blade, and an oak leaf shaped blade tip. It occupies two-thirds of the overall width of the deep arc blood groove.
The blade has a beautiful but fierce radian, a hawk like copper wrapped handle, and the center of gravity is back. The sheath made of hardwood is wrapped with copper pieces, and the copper hoop is clamped, usually black.
