Chapter 1 Mr. Hollett

As the first batch of colonists coming across the sea, Mr. Hollett has a strong aggressive spirit, tough, stubborn and full of oppression.

He thinks he is one of the pioneers of this great era. Yes, he feels that he is not only an adventurer who pursues dreams, but also a new noble who brings civilization to the barren land, even if his father is just the first mate of an old ocean whaling ship.

This man has his proud capital.

In 1763, Britain incorporated Canada into its colonial garden. In the early summer of 1802, Mr. Howlett came to this unsettled land alone at the age of only 17, with only an old flint gun and 3 pounds and 15 pence inherited from his father.

And his brother got the second-hand whaling ship belonging to the family of Harriet and the "family" whaling business that old Harriet had saved all his life.

More than 40 years later, no one in Edmund did not know Mr. Hollett. He was the largest farmer and landowner in western Canada, and also one of the richest among all British colonists.

For many years, people only knew to call him Mr. Hollett, but few people had heard of his name. He only claimed to be Hollett and believed that only he could represent the real Hollett family.

Today, Mr. Hollett is most worried about the family members Ding Buwang. Although he did not spend less time on women's bellies when he was young, he is now 60 years old and has only one son, John, and his teenage grandson, James.

"Is Jamie any better?" Mr. Hollett squeezed out dully, biting his pipe.

"Father Hans has seen it. He still has some fever but has no cough. He just woke up for a while, fed some water and fell asleep." John carefully comforted his father. He knew how important James was to the old father who had lost a grandson.

Mr. Hollett sucked two mouthfuls hard, vomited a long mouthful, and angrily said, "When I was in my teens, I could already carry the harpoon and send it to the blacksmith for rust removal. When you were young, your body and bones were fine. A calf of more than 40 pounds ran around with it. Why did you look like a premature lamb when you came to Jamie?"

"Now the children may not be as tough as before. Tony is so young..."

"He was infected with a disease! It was those damned black beasts who brought the dirty things from the evil continent. Since then, there has never been a black thing to serve the Hollett family! Never again!" Mr. Hollett stared at John and said one word at a time, pinching his pipe and turning white. John regretted mentioning the dead son and asked his father to rest assured with a red face, Leaning back, he led Mr. Hollett to the living room to rest.

Lying in bed, "James" listened to the talk in the corridor without missing a word, and felt it was safer to pretend to be sleepy at the moment. After he woke up, he instinctively asked for some water to drink, and then the whole person closed his eyes and thought about the current situation.

If a person dies and is reincarnated, there should always be a process, such as walking through the underworld, or squeezing out of the mother body. But now the situation is like being popular in movies and novels. He closed his eyes and tried to wake up from the nightmare, trying to distinguish between illusion and reality.

Maybe the little child's body was too weak after experiencing a serious illness, and he fell asleep unconsciously, but his mind kept flashing back to the scenes of practicing boxing.

During the struggle between life and death, his deficient body was unable to sustain his breathing, as well as the short years of childhood of this child named James, the lovely little maid Rose, the physically strong but somewhat bullying Victor who had always been his envy, and the beautiful mother Elizabeth who did not often get along

Mr. Hollett felt much better when his little grandson's illness was well transferred, which also made the whole manor deeply relieved. In fact, servants and slaves have been used to such a repressive atmosphere from time to time. Master James has always been weak and sick, often falling asleep with high fever.

Every now and then, all the servants will be careful to do things and speak, and the mistakes that they usually don't care about are easy to be punished.

However, such a situation is difficult to affect the half aged children, especially Victor, the son of gardener Thomas Rogen, likes to stay on the side when James is sick.

Mr. Hollett felt that Victor would be a loyal domestic servant in the future, so he could not help liking the child more. James' father, John Hollett, did not like Victor very much. In addition to his thick and long nails, which made people feel grubby and ferocious, the more reason was his father himself.

After dinner, Mr. Hollett heard that James had already got up to eat some toast and fruit. He was very interested in going up to see him. He opened the door and saw that the little grandchild was looking around with his head up in high spirits.

"Jamie, how do you feel? Are you still feeling bad?" The old man's face may only be able to see such a complex expression in front of the grandson. He not only tries to maintain a consistent attitude of serious discipline, but also can hardly hide the urgent concern.

"Zu, grandpa, I'm much better now. My head doesn't hurt at all. I'm sorry to worry you again..."

Mr. Hollett looked at his grandson with complicated eyes. James looks very much like his mother Elizabeth. He is a "beautiful" child, and also very sensible and polite.

This is totally different from the rough and hard appearance of the Holit family, which is quite skillful and unskilled. The gentle and elegant character is not like him, and the dark hair color and pupil color are the same.

"It's time to be calm and gentle," said Mr. Hollett, stirring his heart, and then ordered James to leave the room.

Old Hollett seemed to feel that Sun Tzu had some unspeakable changes. His tone of voice alone was much clearer, and he did not hesitate as before. He muttered, biting his pipe and going downstairs.

"James", who has coped with the old man, slumped on the bed with mixed feelings, looked at the 19th century European style layout around him, and his white and young hands silently accepted the fact of this new identity.

From then on, there is no white wind in the previous life. The revenge has already been paid. Although I killed myself with my weak body, I didn't leave any regret, let alone sorry the teacher. There was only a small Mr. Hollett, James Hollett.

I feel that James's memory is full of pain, high fever and weak life memories. His heart is full of indignation and injustice. Can't he have a normal and healthy body through time and space? He swore in silence, and heard a sudden sound of going upstairs, and the door was pushed open.

"James! I heard you were well?"

"It's still hard, but it should be all right. Thank you, Victor."

Victor Rogen walked around the room with a knife in his hand and sat down beside James's bed. He began to trim his nails, which were too thick. He was not polite at all, let alone the courtesy and humility of servants in front of the young master.

James was not angry, but was interested in watching this older child use a knife like cutting wood to file off bits of his nails.

"You are always like this, James, always so sick."

Victor gave a disdainful glance at the delicate doll like teenager leaning on the bed, but at the age of 15 or 16, Victor had some light whiskers on his temples and cheeks, and the thick skeleton looked like a grown man.

"I heard you were always sick when you were young?" James asked subconsciously.

Victor paused for a moment with the sharp knife in his hand, and did not answer. "Recently, a batch of fine ponies will arrive. If you are like this again, you can't ride them. Mr. Hollett will not let you touch them."

Victor stood up with his head held high, patted his fingernails off his pants, and strode out of the room without even bringing the door on.

James stretched himself up with some difficulty, picked up a piece of nail that fell on the bed, looked carefully, and saw something flickering in his eyes
