Chapter 1 Cemetery

it's raining.

Tang Wan, wearing a black dress, stood in the cemetery, her slender figure reflected on the rain covered ground, silent and broken. She lowered her eyes and quietly looked at the cold tombstone in front of her. The bottom of her eyes seemed to be covered with countless sorrows, and she was a little listless.

A black and white photograph was embedded in the tombstone.

The man in the photo, dressed in a black suit, has good features.

When taking the photo, he was looking at the camera and smiled softly.

Tang Wan squatted down slowly on the flagstone.

With her eyelids drooping, she leaned on the cold stone in a trance, letting the big raindrops hit her face and body. These slight pains made her slowly accept everything in front of her.

Raindrops streak the black and white photos on the tombstone.

The father in the photo smiled kindly.

After many years, she thought that the sadness would fade away gradually. Unexpectedly, she experienced this scene again. The dusty memory and grief for many years seemed to have found a node to vent. It poured into her heart like opening the floodgate. Her heart was blocked, stuffy, and even numb.

Tang Wan raised her hand and gently stroked the photo with her fingertips.

Looking at the verdant cypress trees beside the cemetery, she murmured, "Dad, I have come to see you."

The mourners have left one after another because of the sudden rain.

In the huge cemetery, there is only her in black.

I don't know how long later, someone came to her with an umbrella, and the black shoes were polished clean.

Tang Wan slowly raised her head, with raindrops hanging from her long eyelashes, which could not fall to the ground and blocked her vision. It seemed that there was a thick layer of water mist in front of her.

She pursed her lips and wiped her face. Her eyes gradually focused on the visitor.

She called each other softly: "Uncle."

Looking at the embarrassed girl in front of him, Li Kuiwen sighed and reached out to lead her. "Xiaowan, go home with my uncle."

Tang Wan looked at his outstretched hand with calm eyes.

Home?

If you are the former self, you will go with your father after he dies.

But again, she refused.

She stood up on the tombstone, her body was a little shaky, and gently brushed away her big hand in front of her. She smiled calmly, "No, I can do it alone."

Li Kuiwen was stunned.

Before he could speak, the girl turned and left, step by step, slowly and firmly.

He recalled and hurried to catch up with his umbrella.

Send the girl downstairs to her home. Li Kuiwen also wants to persuade her to go to her home. "Xiaowan, it's not safe for you to live here alone. You'd better go to my uncle's house. You haven't seen my grandparents for so long. They miss you very much."

Unfortunately, Tang Wan didn't believe that.

Her grandparents are so patriarchal, how can they miss her? They should wish she were as far away as possible, and never get involved with them.

Tang Wanji began with a deep tiredness hidden in his delicate eyebrows.

"Uncle, thank you for sending me back. I'm tired and want to be alone."

Seeing that she could not be persuaded, Li Kuiwen sighed, "OK, then I will go back first?"

"Hmm."

"Go and change your clothes quickly. Don't catch a cold. You must pay attention to safety when you live alone. Lock the doors and windows when you sleep at night. Remember to call me if you have anything to do, and don't be afraid to trouble me."

This is the only one in the world who loves her.

Tang Wan smiled and nodded, "OK."

After he left, Tang Wan took the key out of his pocket and opened the door. With her back against the back of the door, she looked up at the house that had been restored to its original shape, and her eyes could not help turning red.
