The successful application of large-span bottom shaft driven gate has made the comprehensive water diversion of Suzhou Creek from east to west and from west to north become a reality, effectively improving the water quality of Suzhou Creek and its downstream tributaries. The stepless adjustment of the gate has realized the harmonious urban landscape of people and water, with huge environmental benefits, and has realized the overall planning of the North Bund of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, The North Bund and the current Bund will jointly form the foundation of Shanghai's economic and financial center, with significant social benefits.
