To get to the point, what the three brothers want to share today is just a slightly unexpected memory - Wocun SOLAR Neptune DDR5 7200 24G × 2. At first, this memory is a bit small, but after detailed homework, I found that this memory is very solid, especially the heat dissipation vest is very thick, heavy in the hand. 3、 Test and overclocking experience
The test platform is as follows:

First, take a look at the screenshot of the memory and the hardware CPU-Z of the test platform.
The default frequency of memory is DDR5 4800MHz, and the timing is CL 40-40-76.
Of course, the default frequency is not interesting. After all, memory supports XMP 3.0 technology. The easiest way to improve performance is to enable XMP.
It can be seen that after XMP is enabled in this memory, the frequency is immediately increased to 7200MHz, and the timing is CL 36-46-46-115.
Now let's test the difference between the XMP frequency and the default frequency. The CPU-Z benchmark starts.
In this test, the performance of single core and multi-core is improved slightly when XMP is turned on compared with the default frequency.
7-ZIP compression and decompression benchmark.
In this test, the compression performance and decompression performance of XMP are significantly improved compared with the default frequency, of which the compression performance is improved by 44.53%, which means that users can greatly improve the efficiency in office scenarios by using high-frequency memory.
AIDA64 cache&memory benchmark.
In this test, when XMP is enabled, compared with the default frequency, the read, write and copy performance of the memory is significantly improved by 64.27%, 54.63% and 57.27% respectively.
At the same time, the delay is also reduced by 31.9 ns.
By the way, try the power of high-frequency memory in productivity applications. Stable Diffusion mapping test of AI applications has started.
Although the Stable Diffusion mapping mainly depends on the GPU, the high-frequency memory still adds to it. The test results show that the time spent in mapping is reduced by 0.6s, or 4.72%, compared with the silent frequency, when the XMP is turned on. The time saved is also very observable.
V-Ray CPU rendering test.
In this test, the rendering speed is also significantly improved when XMP is turned on compared with the default frequency.

3Dmark Fire Strike test.
In this test, when XMP is turned on, the total score, physical score and graphic score are all improved with the naked eye compared with the default frequency.
3Dmark Time Spy test.
In this test, the total score, physical score and graphic score of XMP are significantly improved compared with the default frequency, of which CPU score is the most improved by 31.38%.
In the game test, when XMP is turned on at 1080P resolution, compared with the default frequency, the frame rate of each game has increased by at least 27 frames. Among them, games such as Rainbow 6: Siege, Island 5 and Island 6 are more obvious. The increase values are 76 frames, 45 frames and 38 frames, respectively, with an increase of 11.52%, 22.28% and 20.65%.
Under 1440P resolution, although the increase of each game has decreased, most games still have a significant increase, especially the games such as "Island Frightening 5", "Rainbow 6: Siege" and "Civilization 6", with the increase values of 38.00 frames, 35.00 frames and 28.74 frames, respectively, with the increase amplitude of 19.39%, 6.27% and 11.06%.
This memory pair benefits from the use of M-DIE particles, and the overclocking potential is also huge. The memory with tail number of 95 can eventually reach the high frequency of 8800MHz in a single channel.
The memory with tail number of 98 has no pressure on single channel 8800MHz.
Try the overclocking potential when two memories form a dual channel. After some debugging, 8400MHz high frequency is finally achieved, and the timing is CL 40 48 48 136.
