【1】 In the shooting mode, long press the "SET" key, the real-time system time will appear. The default background is black. If the dial is turned clockwise, the background will change to blue, pink, and brownish green in turn.
【2】 In the mode where the position of "auto focus frame" can be set in P, TV, Av, etc., after being set to "free movement", when focusing, if the subject is not in the center (the system default focus frame is in the center), you can press the focus button on the upper left corner of the dial once, and then press the up, down, left The right button can accurately move the focus to the subject (there are 17 positions up and down, 29 positions left and right; using the dial to rotate can also move the focus, but the position is not accurate, there are 3 positions up and down, 5 positions left and right), and then focus and shoot again, which is better than the second composition and shooting after focusing;
To change the size of the focus frame, press "DISP" to switch between large and small;
To bring the focus box back to the center, simply press and hold the focus button.
【3】 Take three photos with different exposures using the surrounding exposure mode, and synthesize one HDR photo using PS. This exposure compensation value range is positive and negative 1 by default. You can press "DISP" to adjust between positive and negative 2 to get 3 photos with a wider exposure range.
【4】 If the weather is not particularly bad, you can use the continuous shooting mode. If you are worried about the poor focus during continuous shooting, you can start the focus continuous shooting mode, which is just behind the continuous shooting mode. This mode is very useful for taking pictures of children.
【5】 Set the G11 shooting image quality to RAW. After ACR opens the RAW file, first change the default color depth of 8 bits per channel to the maximum of 16 bits. The color temperature of the pictures taken in bad weather is low, and the overall color of the picture is blue. You can adjust the "Color Temperature" slider to 8400K to warm the cold and cloudy picture.
Open the shortcut key O of "Highlight Trim Warning", and the overexposed area will be marked in the preview screen in the form of red color blocks. Some overexposed parts do not contain important information and can be ignored.
【6】 Use camera The photos discharged from the built-in black and white mode will discard a lot of color information, while the RAW film can be converted to the gray mode to adjust according to your own needs to get more perfect black and white photos. Use the HSL/grayscale panel, select the "Convert to grayscale" option, and click "Default" to reset all sliders to 0 without using the automatically adjusted parameters. Cancel or select "Preview" to switch between black and white photos and color photos.
【7】 Use AV gear; Use "daylight white balance" in sunny days; Use RAW format; To prevent overexposure, negative exposure compensation can be used if it is not feasible; Take landscape photos and select "Landscape" or "Bright" mode;
【8】 When shooting RAW pictures, only the ISO value and exposure compensation value are concerned (0.3 or 0.7 can be increased when shooting outdoors). See the histogram to adjust these parameters. Other parameters are optional.
【9】 When shooting night scenes, increasing the exposure compensation value will increase the exposure time, but the picture quality is high.
