Details of simulator setting interface

The simulator setting interface can set various parameters inside the simulator. This article will introduce its functions in detail.

Click on the toolbar on the right side of the main window of the simulator or on the multiplexer Button to pop up the following interface:

1、 Engine

Performance settings:
Set the specifications of the simulator, including the number of CPUs allocated and the size of the memory in large use.
At present, four configurations are preset: low configuration (1 core 1024MB), medium configuration (2 core 2048MB), high configuration (4 core 2048MB), and configuration (4 core 4096MB).
Generally speaking, if you want to play a heavy game, such as eating chicken, and the computer performance is sufficient, you can set a high configuration (4-core 2048MB) to achieve a good effect.
The configuration function is added to check the phone configuration for some games. Generally, this option is not required.
In particular, for studio users who want to open more, they can choose custom mode.

Render mode: It is divided into OpenGL and DirectX.
At present, Xiaoyao provides two rendering modes: OpenGL (high support for OpenGL 3.1) and DirectX (high support for OpenGL 3.0).
Both rendering modes have advantages and disadvantages. Users can make their own decisions based on different games.
In particular, if the game runs in a flash back or stutters, the user can choose to switch the rendering mode to try.

Root mode: Allow or disable applications in the simulator to obtain root permissions.

ASTC decoding: Select an appropriate ASTC texture decoding method to improve the performance of the game. If the game flashes back, gets stuck or the screen is abnormal, you can switch this option to try.

ASTC cache: Save the ASTC cache to disk to optimize game stuttering (which will take up disk space).

2、 Display

resolving power Two modes are provided: tablet (horizontal) and mobile phone (vertical).
It contains three preset resolutions, which are obtained according to the aspect ratio of the current display.
The advantage of this is that the user can get a good display effect (no black edges, no stretching and distortion) when clicking the full screen.
If the preset resolution does not meet the user's needs, you can set it through user-defined options.

Frames: The frame number option defines the high frame number allowed by the simulator for running games or apps. Generally, 60FPS is enough. If the computer supports high brush speed, you can choose a higher frame rate.
In particular, for users with multiple studios, you can select a lower number of frames to reduce runtime overhead.

Image anti shake: Turn on this option to eliminate the slight jitter of the screen and optimize the smoothness of the game screen. Note: Please turn off this option in multi open scenarios.

3、 Disk

Cache Mode Cache mode includes acceleration and stability.
Acceleration: Good performance, but accidental power failure may cause image damage.
Stability: good stability, which can protect the image of the simulator from being damaged in case of power failure, and the performance is slightly poor.

Disk Sharing
Shared system disk: use the shared system disk, and the disk takes up less space
Independent system disk: independent system disk, writable

Disk management: You can select automatic expansion or manual management.
The automatic expansion simulator will automatically expand the capacity after the capacity is exhausted.
Manually manage the simulator disk capacity. Studio users with high requirements for simulator disk size can use this option.

4、 Properties

Equipment model: The device model is used to simulate the models of different mobile phones. In addition to more than ten preset models for users to choose, users can also make user-defined settings.

Operator settings: Operator settings provide corresponding operator information simulation according to different countries and regions.

Phone number setting: Simulate the mobile phone number information in the current device. This item is only an analog message, and cannot actually answer or make calls or send or receive SMS messages.

IMEI settings: Global IMEI serial code of analog equipment.

5、 Network

WiFi hotspot: WiFi hotspot name of the analog connection.

MAC address: Set the MAC address information of the simulator.

Network mode: Network mode settings include default mode and bridge mode.
Default mode (NAT): The simulator is in a special intranet. This mode can access the Internet normally. However, other devices in the LAN (such as mobile phones and computers) cannot directly access the simulator.
Bridging mode: The simulator is directly connected to the router. This mode can access the Internet normally. Other devices in the LAN (such as mobile phones and computers) can access the simulator.
Generally speaking, if there is no special requirement, use the default mode.

6、 Equipment

Microphone: Users can select voice input devices.

Sound driven: The user can select a sound driver or disable the use of a sound driver.

camera:
Physics: The camera connected to the computer can be used in the simulator. If there is no physical camera, it will still switch to the virtual camera.
Virtual: Virtual camera is a kind of simulated device, which can perform virtual code scanning and other operations.

7、 Appearance

Virtual key position: Set the position of Android virtual key (return, return to desktop, recent tasks, menu).
You can select the bottom edge displayed in the right toolbar, the simulator image, or the right edge in the simulator image.

Window position:
Default: The window appears in the center of the screen by default at startup.
Remember: When starting, the window pops up at the last closed position, and remember the size of the window.

Mouse style: Select the default mouse style (4 colors).

Display tab: Users can open or close tabs.

Toolbar text: You can turn the toolbar text on or off.

Automatic picture zoom: The user can choose whether to scale the Android screen according to the system's zoom ratio.

8、 Preferences

Language: The language column provides language support for more than ten different countries, and users can choose according to their needs.

Sleep options: Users can choose the mode of simulator and system sleep.

Exit options: The user can choose the way to exit the simulator.

soft keyboard: Whether to use the Android soft keyboard built in the simulator image for input.

Android notification: Set whether notification messages in Android are displayed as bubbles in Windows.

Time synchronization: Periodically synchronize the time information of Windows to the Android system (only used when the simulator clock is inaccurate).

Startup: The user can choose whether the simulator will be started together with the system startup.

Application auto start: The user can choose whether to allow the application to start automatically.

9、 Shortcut key

Shortcut key: At present, there are four kinds of setting options: common, virtual key, game and performance.
