The free simulator VT opens the video tutorial:
1、 What is VT? Why open VT?
VT , full name is Virtualization Technology , that is Virtualization technology , Intel platform is called VT-x, and AMD platform is called SVM. Virtualization technology is one of the important basic functions of running simulator 。 it It allows a platform to run multiple operating systems at the same time, and applications can run in independent spaces without affecting each other, thus significantly improving computer efficiency. Therefore, when you are playing a game and find that there is a jam or crash, you should first turn on VT. Turn on VT to fully release the performance of the simulator, and improve the smoothness of the game by 10 times! (PS: VT will not have any negative impact on the computer, please rest assured!)
2、 Check whether the PC supports the VT function
If the following pop-up window appears when your simulator is running, or an exclamation mark like warning sign appears at the top right of the simulator window, it indicates the VT function Not working properly 。
At this time, you need to download the following detection tools to further confirm the status of the VT function:
Generally, there are three results:
i) Two green ticks: Explain that the PC fully supports the VT function. However, if the free VT warning still appears, it indicates that other programs may be occupying the VT function. For example, Microsoft Hyper-V, or 360 Nucleus Protection. Consider closing them down.
ii) Two red crosses: Note The PC does not support VT at all. This article may not help you, but it also shows that your computer is too old, so you can consider upgrading it.
iii) The first green tick, the second red cross: This indicates that the VT function is off 。 This article mainly discusses this situation and teaches you how to turn on VT and let the computer run at a high speed.
3、 How to open VT
1. Restart the computer to enter BIOS Generally, when restarting the computer, press F2 perhaps Delete Key. The success rate can reach more than 80%. If the above methods fail, please refer to the following table
2. Find the corresponding VT option The full English name of VT varies with different platforms, generally: The Intel platform is “Virtualization Technology” , or “VT-x” AMD platform is “Secure Virtual Machine” , or “SVM” 。 VT options are typically located in [Advanced], [* * Processor] CPU Configuration, [Security] Security And other similar options.
3. After finding the VT option, set it to Enabled. 4. Then press the Save key, usually F10 to save and exit.
It's easy to say, but there are still many kids who don't know how to access the BIOS and can't find the VT option. The following links list some common steps for BIOS to open VT >> ASUS UEFI BIOS Open VT Tutorial
