Terminology
Also known as cone slope protection, when embedded, pile, column abutment or abutment layout cannot fully retain soil, in order to protect the stability of embankment at bridge head and prevent scouring, cone slopes shall be set on both sides. The gradient in the cross bridge direction shall be consistent with the embankment slope, and the gradient along the bridge direction shall be determined according to the height, soil quality, flooding and paving.
