Full Name
King Zhending
Date of death
441 BC
In 453 BC during the reign of Ji Jie, Zhao Xiangzi, Han Kangzi, and Wei Huanzi, three officials of the State of Jin, after annexing other nobles one after another, jointly attacked and destroyed the last noble Zhibo, forming the actual three countries (the State of Zhao, the Republic of Korea, and the State of Wei). On the contrary, Yougong, the monarch of the State of Jin, had to pay tribute to them separately. This shows that the emerging forces of Jin defeated the old forces.
In the spring of 441 BC, Jijie died of illness. After Jijie died, the temple name was King Zhending.
