Vehicle facilities

Xizhaotong Comprehensive Maintenance Base
On April 29, 2016, Shijiazhuang metro vehicles entered the Xizhaotong Comprehensive Maintenance Base. The main color of the vehicle appearance was silver gray, and the door, window and front windshield areas were black. Metro Lines 1 and 3 adopt "Sun Orange" and "Ice Blue" as line colors respectively.
Shijiazhuang metro vehicles have selected the national standard A-type vehicles, which are longer, wider and have large passenger capacity, and are suitable for use in megacities with large population density and passenger flow. Shijiazhuang is the first city in the same kind of cities to obtain approval to use A-type vehicles. The length of a single metro vehicle is 22.8 meters, the widest part of the vehicle is 3.1 meters, and the total length of six car trains is about 140 meters, The maximum running speed is 80 km/h, and the average running speed is 35 km/h. According to the standard of 6 people/square meter, the passenger capacity of a single train is 1860 people. According to the passenger flow forecast of Line 1, the long-term peak hour section passenger flow of this line is 40500 people. With this train and formation, the long-term transportation capacity of 55800 people/hour can be provided, and a certain margin can be guaranteed to meet the passenger flow transportation requirements.
The seats in the car are made of stainless steel patterns with electric heating function, a large number of armrests and a blue floor with metal texture.
At the same time, the whole vehicle structure of Shijiazhuang Metro trains has been subject to noise reduction treatment. Honeycomb structure, sound insulation materials, vibration damping and sound insulation panels and noise reduction damping felt have been used to ensure a quiet and comfortable environment in the train during driving. The sliding plug door system is also selected for the train. When the door is closed, the outer surface of the door leaf and the side wall of the car body form the same plane, so that the air resistance and noise of the train at high speed are low. And it has sealing performance, which can better shield outdoor noise and block tunnel dust.

Service facilities

  • Dynamic map
The LED light strip on the roof of Shijiazhuang metro train is very soft and bright. Compared with traditional fluorescent lamps, LED lamp can save 30% of electricity. In addition to the common electronic subway running chart, there is also a computer screen like display screen next to it. The dynamic map in the train can display not only the station name, but also the station exits and surrounding commercial facilities. [7]
  • Green intelligence
Shijiazhuang Metro trains rely on the R&D and manufacturing platform of high-speed EMUs with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, follow high-end systems such as high-speed EMUs design, manufacturing and quality control, and strictly implement UIC International quality standards and management systems such as EN, IEC, ISO, DIN, etc., and advanced concepts such as full vehicle modular design, energy conservation and environmental protection design, safety and fire protection design, humanized design, are introduced. In addition, the front end of the train body is equipped with a modular energy absorption structure, which can meet the vehicle collision protection under certain speed conditions and ensure the safety of passengers. Moreover, Shijiazhuang Metro adopts mature and reliable systems for bogie, traction, braking and other key components that affect vehicle operation and safety.
In addition, Shijiazhuang metro trains have strong electric braking performance. Within the full network voltage range of AW0-AW2 load, electric braking alone can meet the requirements of average braking deceleration, and can feedback the energy generated during braking to the power grid to the greatest extent. The vehicle also has the remote wireless transmission function, which can transmit the fault, alarm and video information to the control center in real time to realize the comprehensive ground to vehicle monitoring.
  • noise reduction
The noise source areas such as the bogie and air conditioner in the passenger compartment of Shijiazhuang metro train are paved with damping and sound insulation materials, and damping patches are pasted on the floor and side wall areas. Air conditioners, air compressors and other moving parts use new efficient shock absorbers to reduce noise sources, wheels are equipped with damping rings to reduce wheel rail noise, and gangways use double-layer canopy cloth to improve sound insulation. Optimize the head shape and improve the dynamic performance. The noise inside and outside the train is 1-3dB (A) lower than the industry standard, which is the quietest subway in China. Meanwhile, the train is equipped with automatic fire alarm system. The automatic fire alarm system can transmit the information such as the fire position of the train to the fire control room through wireless network.
In addition, the train is equipped with an emergency evacuation door in the front center of the cab, which can open the escape way accurately and quickly, so as to evacuate passengers in an emergency.

At the same time, the logo graphic uses perspective to form the image of the subway tunnel that continues to extend forward, showing the characteristics of the high-speed subway. And the logo seems to be a map of the city, and the overlapping structure symbolizes the endless development and change of Shijiazhuang. Its square and steady outline and lines have the character of traditional Chinese seals, reflecting the inheritance and accumulation of urban culture and history, as well as the confident commitment of contemporary Shijiazhuang people to the future of the city. The modern green symbolizes nature, environmental protection and efficiency, echoes the characteristics of "low-carbon travel" of subway, and also symbolizes the concept of green and sustainable urban development.

master plan

In July 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the recent construction plan of Shijiazhuang urban rail transit (2012-2020). According to the overall urban planning and comprehensive transportation planning of Shijiazhuang, the urban rail transit network of Shijiazhuang in the planned future year is composed of six lines, including six lines of "three main lines and three auxiliary lines", forming the interconnection pattern of "big radiation and small grid", with a total length of 241.7 kilometers, 160 stations, including 29 transfer stations, and a network density of 1.09 kilometers/square kilometers in the core area, The line network density in the central urban area is 0.42 km/km2. In the line network, Line 1 is the east-west backbone line arranged along the main axis of the urban area, connecting the main external traffic hubs and important functional nodes of the city. Line 2 is the backbone line arranged along the north-south development axis of the urban area, Line 3 is the backbone line arranged along the east-west development axis of the urban area, Lines 4 and 5 are the peripheral auxiliary filling lines, and Line 6 is the internal filling line. It is estimated that in 2020, Shijiazhuang urban public transport travel will account for 30% of all mode travel, and rail transit will account for 30% of public transport travel.
On November 28, 2017, the official website of Shijiazhuang Metro released the Bidding Announcement of Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Phase II Construction Plan (2018~2024) Environmental Impact Report Preparation Project. The planning period is from 2018 to 2024, and the total length of the proposed line is about 105 km (including about 3.0 km for Line 1 Phase III, 23.2 km for Line 2 Phase II, 23.3 km for Line 4, 28.9 km for Line 5, and 26.8 km for Line 6). After the completion of Shijiazhuang Metro, it will effectively alleviate the urban traffic situation, improve the city brand image, and have a significant impact on the economic layout. With the increasing number of vehicles in Shijiazhuang, serious road congestion has become a headache for people to travel. The advantages of subway, which is efficient, accessible and saves ground resources, will effectively alleviate this problem. The construction of subway will inject new impetus into the economic development of Shijiazhuang, the emerging provincial capital city. The six subway lines planned throughout Shijiazhuang City will not only bring new travel experience to the people in the provincial capital, but also drive the appreciation of real estate along the way and accelerate the development of business districts. The opening and operation of the subway will bring a "subway economy" with unlimited business opportunities. [10]
