Yuan Yaxiang(Elected in May 2017): graduated from the doctor's degree in 1986University of Cambridge, obtainedNational Natural Science AwardSecond prize, Mathematics Award of the Academy of Sciences of Developing Countries, etc. In 2011, he was elected as a member of the American Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, in 2012, he was elected as a member of the American Society of Mathematics, in 2015, he was elected as the president of the Chinese Society of Mathematics, and in 2016, he was elected as the vice chairman of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology.[2]
