If the ssd is hung, the data in it will disappear. Replace the ssd, install esx, and load the virtual machine on the raid.If it is an enterprise level SSD, don't worry about it. The ESX itself has a small amount of writes and a long solid life. In fact, it is wasteful to use it in this way. The high IOPS of solid state is not reflected.
