Guo Dongni, the "post-95" girl, is the Deputy Chief Engineer of the High end Equipment Business Department of Zhongnan Intelligent Changsha Changtai Robot Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongnan Intelligent"), a "Xiaohe" young talent in Changsha, a model worker in Changsha, a member of the "Huxiang Craftsman", a member of the Hunan Model Worker Publicity Group in 2024, and a model worker in Hunan Province. As a core member, she participated in the national key research and development plan intelligent robot project, and the national industrial Internet innovation and development project technology breakthrough; In view of the pain points in the textile field and the cement transportation field, he led or participated in the research and development of intelligent cloth inspection system, bagged material loading system, etc., effectively breaking the bottleneck of industry development, forming a demonstration application, and generating good economic and social benefits.

In April 2018, Guo Dongni, who majored in control engineering at Hunan University, entered Changsha Changtai Robot Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. for internship. In July 2020, she officially joined Changtai Robot Company, and quickly grew to be the leader of the company's machine vision and artificial intelligence algorithm research and development project team. She is now the deputy chief engineer of the company's high-end equipment business department.

"Our team's work is to equip the robot system with 'eyes' and' brains'." Guo Dongni introduced that through the development of algorithms and software, the robot system can grasp cement correctly, so as to achieve the effect that the robot system can replace manual work. Once, when testing the strength of the grip, the grip broke the cement bag, and cement ash was sprayed from the sky. They shouted to their companions to run out together. At last, everyone looked at each other, and everyone was ashen and could hardly recognize it.

After the algorithm is developed, it is applied to the robot system. When the robot system is sent to the factory for official use, Guo Dongni's work has not been completed. She needs to timely adjust the problems found in the use process to ensure that the system can be successfully applied to practice. "We often have to go to different factories to help them solve technical problems".

In the textile field, after the cloth was produced in the past, a large number of workers were required to manually check whether there were holes, web turning and other defects one by one, which was very time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the accuracy was also low. The industry is faced with problems such as low intelligence level of defect detection, high cost of intelligent detection equipment and uneven quality.

When participating in the national key research and development plan, Guo Dongni and the team members intended to solve the problem of this industry's development pain point and help the textile industry to upgrade intelligently. But at that time, there was no mature experience in China. As the technical director, Guo Dongni could only lead the team members to explore and make breakthroughs.

Guo Dongni led this post-90s master's "women's army" to settle down at the textile production site thousands of miles away from home. She took turns to stay by the production line 24 hours a day. She waited for several months and collected tens of thousands of data.

In summer, when the temperature in the workshop exceeded 40 ℃, it was extremely sultry. They wore long clothes and trousers and were soaked all over. They had to drink water to alleviate the sultry. "Facts have proved that research and development work cannot be separated from the actual production. Only by sticking to the front line can we seize the industry's pain points and tackle key problems quickly and accurately." Guo Dongni said.

After collecting enough samples at the production site, Guo Dongni kept on developing and running the algorithm. The effort pays off. Guo Dongni's team has finally developed a cloth defect detection system with independent intellectual property rights - "ZTVT tire based non-woven fabric self-learning vision system", which liberates workers' eyes with artificial intelligence. At present, this intelligent cloth inspection equipment system is applicable to different materials and colors, with a false detection rate of less than 0.1% and a market share of 50%.

Over the past three years, Guo Dongni has rapidly grown into a technical backbone in the front line of intelligent manufacturing and a leader in intelligent equipment development. As a representative of young talents at the front line of intelligent manufacturing, Guo Dongni participated in the first Global Foundry Industry Science and Technology Youth Forum and won the top 8 in China.

In the past three years, Guo Dongni also applied for 5 patents, wrote 4 soft books, published 2 papers, and took the lead in formulating the Group Standard for Intelligent Visual Fabric Inspection System. As a core member of the project team, she has participated in two major national scientific research projects in the development of major equipment, which have passed the acceptance. A number of technologies have filled the domestic gap, and she has accepted the on-site observation of the "three high and four new" strategic industrial projects of the provincial party committee and the provincial government.

As the "head" leader in the domestic intelligent manufacturing industry, Zhongnan Intelligent is the only enterprise in Hunan Province that has the capability of independent research and development and production of industrial robots. It has the first independently developed industrial robot in Hunan, "Changsha No.1", and the upgraded "Zhongnan No.1". Their products and technologies cover more than 110 industrial scenes, with more than 40 sets of the first set in the industry, and they are one of the enterprises with the largest number of first set projects in the domestic robot industry.
