On May 23, the "Industry Reform" Innovation Week of Jiangsu Province and Nanjing National Defense Industry was opened in Nanjing Chenguang 1865 Industrial Park. At the opening ceremony, the aviation industry 2024 "Five Provinces and Eight Cities" labor competition for airborne hydraulic, fuel and environmental control systems led by Nanjing Electromechanical and Hydraulic Engineering Research Center was officially launched. Ten thousand employees will be organized to participate in the labor competition with the theme of "Gather wisdom, develop coherently, step on the dragon and climb the peak bravely", and cultivate national defense industry craftsmen.

In order to promote the development of low altitude economy, the Nanjing low altitude economic manufacturing workers' scientific and technological innovation space was inaugurated. The scientific and technological innovation space for employees, led by the trade union of Jincheng Group, the industry leader, covers 12 low altitude economic manufacturing enterprises in Nanjing's defense industry system, and will be built into a "warm post, charging platform, and innovation home" for front-line workers.

It is reported that this innovation week activity is hosted by the Working Committee of Jiangsu Machinery, Metallurgy and Petrochemical Industry Association, Nanjing Federation of National Defense Industry Trade Unions, and Nanjing Industrial Workers Innovation and Development Center, and undertaken by the trade unions of Nanjing Chenguang Group, Jincheng Group, Nanjing Mechanical and Electrical Trade Union, and Huaneng Jiangsu Comprehensive Energy Trade Union. Hundreds of model workers' innovative workshops and staff's innovative achievements in intelligent manufacturing, clean energy and other fields of defense industry in provinces and cities were displayed on the site, and they were simultaneously extended in Jinling Library.
