In this operation, the 4 # Valve Station of Nanchang Shanghai Branch Pipeline of the Second West to East Gas Pipeline will be connected with the DN200 pipeline already built in Jinxian Off load Station of the Pipeline Branch of Jiangxi Natural Gas Group Company by hot work. At 7:10 am that day, with the vent valve of 4 # valve chamber slowly opening, the pipeline pressure slowly dropped to 0 MPa, and the nitrogen injection truck replaced the pipeline from the nitrogen injection port of 4 # valve chamber through the nitrogen injection equipment. After the gas detection is qualified, the operators concentrate on cutting and disassembling the 8 welded junctions, and lifting, polishing, assembling, demagnetizing and welding the prefabricated pipe section as a whole. Each process shall be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the hot work plan, and the on-site quality and safety management shall be in order. Personnel from Nanchang Gas Transmission Branch of West to East Gas Pipeline Project, Pipeline Branch of Jiangxi Natural Gas Group Company, construction, supervision, testing and other units strictly implement the epidemic prevention and control requirements to ensure the safety and control of the operation process.

"The project has basically come to an end since it started on March 8. After the hot work is completed, 95% of our project will be completed. As long as the hot work is qualified, we can connect with the national pipeline network of natural gas." Wang Qizhu, project manager of PetroChina Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., said.
