Japan became a Party to theNagoya ProtocolAugust202017“Guidelines on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from Their Utilization”（ABS Guidelines）entered into force on the same day to implement the Protocol in Japan。
