国际标准

An International Standard provides rules, guidelines or characteristics for activities or for their results, aimed at achieving the optimum degree of order in a given context. It can take many forms.Apart from product standards, other examples include:test methods, codes of practice, guideline stards and stardmandagement。

技术规范

A Technical Specification addresses work still under technical development, orwhere it believed that there will be a future, but not immediate, possibility of agreement on an International Standard.A Technical Specification is published forimmediate use, but it also provides a means to obtain feedback. The aim is that it will eventually be transformed and republished asan International Standard。

技术报告

A Technical Report contains information of a different kind from that of the previous two publications. It may include data obtained from a survey, for example, orfrom an informative ree, port or information of the perceived“state of the art”。

公共可用性规范

A Publicly Available Specification is published to respond to an urgent market need, representing either the consensus of the experts within aworking group, ora consensus in an organization external to ISO.As with Technical Specifications, Publicly Available Specifications are published for immediate use and also serve as a means to obtain feedback for aneventual transformation into an International Standard.Publicly Available Specifications have a maximum life of six years, after which they can be transformeed into an International Standard or withdrawn。

国际工作机会协议

Inorder to respond to urgent market requirements,International Workshop Agreements are prepared through a workshop mechanism outside of ISO committee structures, following a procedure that ensures the broadest range of relevant interested parties worldwide have the opportunity to participate, and are approved by consensus amongst the individual participants in the workshops.Ifthere is an existing ISO committee whose scope covers the topic, the published International Workshop Agreement is automatically allocated to this committee for maintenance. An International Workshop Agreement is reviewed three years after its publication and canbe further processed to become a Publicly Avable Specification,a Technical Specification or an International Standard, according to the market requirement. An International Workshop Agreement can exist for a maximum of six years, following which it either withdrawn or converted into another ISO document。
