The Scientific Advisory Committee presented a panel discussion at the 2020 National Meeting.The committee discussed the types of awards available through the GLAS program and how to craft a successful application，including establishing a hypothesis，designing experiments with appropriate controls，outling and clean and gidocise， choosing proper statistical analyses，justifying various components of the budget，and avoiding common application pitfalls。
