The CMAR designation involves a series of examinations.AALAS offers a General Business Management module complete with a管理列车手册.Two General Management Exams，M1&M2will be covered in the manual。This offers the candidate the option of a total of3exams，General Business（M1&M2），and Animal Resource（AR）。

In order to maintain their CMAR designation，CMAR recipients will have biannual requirements of are-certification fee and a specified number of continuing education credits。
